UNAKA-PUP Holds Public Forum with PUP Prexy

To clarify issues and concerns from the administrative sector regarding the plans of the new PUP administration, the Unyon ng mga Kawani sa PUP (UNAKA-PUP) members and officers held a public forum at the University Multimedia Center on July 13.

President De Guzman speaks before the members of the administrative union. With him are HRMD Director Alberto C. Guillo and UNAKA-PUP President Samuel S. Santiago.

The forum primarily aimed to promote harmonious relationship among the members of the union by providing a venue for the employees to raise issues and concerns affecting the sector and to know the Union’s participation in the University’s plans and activities.

During the forum, the President expressed his gratitude to UNAKA for the opportunity to briefly present his 8-point agenda and report on his administration’s accomplishments for the first 100 days. He After his brief talk, he readily answered all the questions raised by the employees during the open forum.

Meanwhile, HRMD Director Alberto C. Guillo informed the body on updates regarding the Personnel Selection Board after the President clarified the issue about selection and promotion.
