The Office of the Vice President for Research, Development and Extension (OVPRDE) is tasked to ensure that the University research policy resonates with CHED’s research thrusts. Through its centers, the OVPRD shall see to the implementation of its mandated task - the undertaking of various developmental activities of the University.

The Office of the Vice President for Research and Development considers research as the cornerstone of the University; if properly nurtured, it will contribute to the development of science and technology, social sciences, culture, new knowledge and the environment.

Research at the forefront of change demands a paradigm shift from its existing system to a new one to meet better the needs of this radically changing world. Such is the direction we have set for ourselves - to keep abreast of the current needs of the times and utilize research to satisfy them.

Pastor B. Malaborbor, PhD
