Enrollment Procedure

Here are the general instructions and guidelines for enrollment.


For Freshmen

  1. Go to the college of your choice where you qualify and present your PUPCET Notice of Admission and high school card for evaluation and interview
  2. Get the approval sheet from the Dean/Director/Chair of the specific area of discipline
  3. Secure a medical clearance from the University Medical Clinic upon presentation of approval sheet and chest X-ray result with film
  4. Proceed to the Admissions and Registration Office (ARO) and present the following documents (original and photocopies): 
    • Approval sheet from the college
    • Form 138 or high school card with high school general average of 85% or higher
    • PUPCET result within the cut-off score
    • Certificate of good moral character from the Principal or Guidance Counselor
    • Medical Clearance from the PUP Medical Clinic
    • Two (2) pieces latest picture size 2 inch. by 2 inch. (2"x2") with name pictured on it
    • Certified true copy of Birth Certificate duly authenticated by the National Statistics Office or Civil Registrar of the place of birth.
  5. Present the original Admission Certificate and photocopies of documents enumerated in Step 3 to the enrolling adviser in exchange of a registration certificate
  6. Fill-out the registration certificate and copy the class schedule provided by the enrolling adviser and let the latter check the entries
  7. Proceed to the College of Physical Education and Sports Office for P.E. subject.  Male students are required to enroll also in the R.O.T.C.
  8. Pay the Student Council and Student Publication fees and other fees
  9. Submit the properly accomplished registration certificate to the enrolling adviser for signature
  10. Present the registration certificate to the assessor at the Accounting Office for assessment. 
  11. Pay directly to the Cashier the amount indicated in the assessed registration certificate
  12. Proceed to the Accounting Office for stamping of test permit and to the ARO for validation of registration certificate if tuition was paid . in full. Otherwise, proceed to ARO for validation of registration certificate if tuition and fees was partially paid.

For Old Students (Day School)

  1. Old, Returning or Transferring students, go to the enrollment area/room assigned to your college/institute and confer with the enrollment adviser.
  2. Submit the following documents to the enrollment adviser.
    1. Old Student
      • Latest registration certificate and latest classcard
      • Curriculum sheet
      • Clearance for old accounts (if any)
    2. Returning Student
      • Readmission certificate
      • latest registration certificate stamped Fully Paid
      • Curriculum sheet
    3. Transferring Student
      • Certificate of admission
      • Transcript of Records/certificate of grades
      • Enrollment slip
      • Curriculum sheet
  3. Secure a new registration certificate and accomplish it with the enrollment adviser's assistance
  4. Copy class schedule
  5. Submit the properly accomplished registration certificate to the enrollment adviser for approval and signature

For Old Students (Night School)

  1. Night students should present their latest registration certificate and secure an enrollment slip from the department
  2. Check the bulletin board of your college/institute regarding class schedule and assigned curriculum/section adviser
  3. Present the following documents to the enrollment /curriculum adviser:
    1. Old Student
      • Registration certificate
      • Curriculum sheet
      • Enrollment slip
      • Latest classcards
    2. Returning Student
      • Readmission certificate
      • Enrollment slip
      • Latest registration certificate stamped Fully Paid
      • Latest classcards
    3. Transferring student
      • Admission certificate
      • Curriculum sheet
      • Certificate of grades
      • Enrollment slip
      • Photocopies of the admission credentials submitted to the ARO
  4. Get a new registration certificate and accomplish it with the enrollment adviser's assistance
  5. Copy class schedule from the enrollment slip
  6. Submit the properly accomplished registration certificate to the enrollment adviser for approval and signature

Guidelines for taking Physical Education and ROTC

  1. All the students must enroll in Physical Education (P.E.) at the assigned areas in the University gymnasium.  Male students are required to enroll in ROTC.
  2. Those with physical disabilities must see the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports and the Commandant of the ROTC. regarding their personal condition. In both cases, an enrollment is required.

Registration and Cross-Registration
You are considered officially enrolled when:

  • You have fully paid your tuition and other fees
  • Your official receipt of payment has been validated
  • You have submitted your fully accomplished registration certificate in which the "Copy for Student" portion of your registration certificate has been properly stamped "Registered" and initialed by the ARO receiving clerk

No student shall be registered later than the date specified in the University calendar, except under reasonable and justifiable circumstances to be determined by the Dean concerned who then make his recommendation to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, but not to exceed six (6) class hours.

A student of the University may be authorized by the concerned Dean/Director and with the approval of the University Registrar to cross-register in another accredited institution of higher learning if the subject/s are not offered in the University.

No cross enrollee from another institution shall be admitted into the University without a written permit from the registrar. This permit shall state the total number of units for which the student is registered and the subject/s that the student is authorized to take in the University.

June 9-20 - Adjustment Period
June 20 - Last day of tuition fee payment
June 23 - Deadline of submission of adjustment requirements to the Office of the University Registrar
