The PUP ICT Center is currently accepting applications for the 2011 ICTC Summer Training Program:

On-The-Job Trainees
Office: PUP Information and Communications Technology Center

Qualifications:

  • Must be a PUP Student of any of the following academic programs:
    • BS in Computer Engineering
    • BS in Computer Science
    • BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering
    • BS in Information Technology
    • Bachelor in Advertising and Public Relations
    • Bachelor in Broadcast Communication
    • Diploma in Information Communication Management Technology
    • Diploma in Computer Engineering Management Technology
    • Diploma in Electronics Communications Engineering Management Technology
  • Has passion for technology / technology-enthusiast
  • Positive work attitude and a team player
  • Can work under minimal supervision
  • Willing to be assigned in other PUP Campuses

Optional qualifications for BSCoE, BSCS, BSIT and DICMT Students:

  • Knowledgeable in any of the following:
    • Programming Languages: C/C++, C#, VB.NET, XAML or Java
    • Database: preferably in MS SQL Server, MySQL or Oracle
    • Web: XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP or ASP.NET
    • Multimedia: Flash, Photoshop, Premier, After Effects, InDesign, Publisher (for BBrC and BADPR applicants)
    • Networking Technologies: LAN, WAN, MAN, Wireless (for BSECE, DCEMT and DECEMT applicants)

Interested students may personally apply at the PUP ICT Center during office hours (Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 1:00 - 5:00 PM) and submit the following fastened in a long folder:

  1. Comprehensive CV/Resumé (with 1½ x 1½ color photo taken not more than six months ago);
  2. Endorsement letter from College Dean and/or Department Chairperson;
  3. Certification of Grades (from first year college up to the last semester enrolled) duly signed by the Department Chair; and
  4. Letter of Application addressed to:
