Mission
To respond to the growing need for relevant and continuing
cooperative education and services towards economic self-reliance,
social responsibility and cooperativism as a way of life.
Goals
- Promote and strengthen cooperative education, both formal and non-formal
- Provide nationalist, scientific, democratic and pro-people education
- Heighten the research culture and strengthen the research programs
- Develop competence and expertise of faculty members
- Exhibit virtues of social discipline and self reliance
- Make the College one of the most adequate training centers in the country
Objectives
- Offer degree and non-degree courses in Cooperatives
- Provide training courses in Organizational, Management, Business, Finance, Audit
and Human Resources Development to cooperatives at all levels
- Undertake research and disseminate findings through appropriate media and fora
- Set up exchange programs, scholarships, consortia, and professorial chairs
- Engage in advocacy work, linkages and networking towards mainstreaming the
cooperatives in the country
- Partner with cooperatives in community development projects and extension
services
- Engage in faculty development programs through scholarships, fellowships, study
visits, exchanges and exposures
