Bachelor in Banking and Finance (BBF)

Program Description
The BBF is a bachelor degree program that aims to equip its students with sound and relevant knowledge and skills in Banking and Finance. This program intends to provide the students foundation in banking operations, investments principles and policies geared towards producing key executives and personnel in banks and other financial institutions.

Students of the program are exposed to practical training, case study analysis and researches in the field of banking and non-banking operations and practices.  Furthermore, students skills in financial analysis and decision-making are sharpened to meet the challenges of the times.


Admission Requirements

  • Upper 50% of those who pass the PUP College Entrance Test (PUPCET)
  • 82% High School Average or better
  • An interview by the Dean/Department Chairperson

Retention Requirements

  • Weighted average grade of 2.25 in all subjects
  • Maintained a weighted average grade of 2.25 in all major subjects and 2.5 in minor subjects

Graduation Requirements

  • Completion of the course requirements
  • At least two year residence
  • Oral Defense of Feasibility with a grade of 2.0
  • Submission of Feasibility Study paper
  • Practicum Training of 200 hours
