1970
Dr.Nemesio E.Prudente (PCC President) Establishment of Graduate School named Faculty of Graduate Studies Dr. Hernani P. Esteban (First PUP-GS Dean) Prof. Edna O. Formilleza (GS Secretary).

1971
Introduction of MABE leading to MBA degree.

1972
Dr. Narciso S. Albarracin (OIC-PCC) Dr. Pablo T. Mateo (Performance Officer) Under Martial Law, PCC was closed including the PUP-GS.

1973-1974
Prof. Isabelo T Crisostomo (OIC-PCC) Dr. Flora G. Gonzalez (Dean, Graduate School) Prof. Salud B. Andres (Acting GS Secretary) Transfer of Dr. Esteban to PLM, Faculty of Graduate Studies renamed Graduate School.

MBA revised to include Accounting, Management and Marketing, GS Forum publication launched.

1974-1975
MBA and MBE revised, Master in Economics offered.

1975-1976
Prof. Leticia R. Arbis (GS Secretary) Two new curricula offered: MPA and Teacher Certificate Program, offered scholarship to teachers; GS community outreach approved.

1977-1978
Dr. Pablo T. Mateo (Acting PUP President) Dr. Flora G. Gonzalez (VP for Academic Affairs/ Concurrent GS Dean) Dr. Armando M. Garcia (GS Secretary) Change of leadership, PCC converted to PUP, introduced Certificate Program in Cooperatives, and two doctoral programs: DBA and DPA.

1979-1980
Set up off-campus consortium with NCSO, offered Master in Applied Statistics and special MPA program for govt. leaders, combined MPA and MBA with MPBA; consortium on Master in Construction Management but was discontinued.

1980-1981
Launched Master in Accountancy for non-accountants but discontinued due to problems with PRC, non-thesis program in MBA was offered.

1982-1983
Dr. Rellita D. Paez (GS Secretary) Master in Physical Education was offered.

1985-1986
Dr. Nemesio E. Prudente (PUP President) Change of PUP leadership, Dr. Gonzalez retired.

1986-1987
Straight programs in MBA and MBE offered, new programs offered in Master in Industrial Engineering and Master of Arts in Psychology.

1987-1988
Dr. Soledad L. Villena (Asst. Dean) Prof. Salud B. Andres (GS Secretary) Offered master’s and doctoral programs in Educational Management.

1989-1990
GS transferred from S.H. Loyola, Sampaloc to Hasmin Hostel in Sta. Mesa.

1990-1991
Master in Mass Communications offered at First as traditional degree program.

1991-1992
Dr. Rodolfo T. de Lara (GS Dean for 6 months) Dr. Honesto B. Mendoza (Designated Dean for one month) Master of Arts in Language Teaching offered; Dr. Jaime Gellor took over the PUP helm, PUP-GS had administrative changes.

1992-1993
Dr. Zenaida A. Olonan (PUP President and Concurrent PUP-GS Dean until end of 1992) Dr. Rustica C. Carpio (PUP-GS Dean) Prof. Salud B. Andres (Assistant Dean) Prof. Isabel C. Crisostomo (GS Faculty Assistant) Change of leadership at PUP under Pres. Fidel V. Ramos.

1994
Dr. Rodolfo T. de Lara (PUP-GS Dean) Prof. Isabel C. Crisostomo (GS Secretary) Prof. Milagrina A. Gomez (Faculty Assistant) Curricular enrichment, multidisciplinary approach, ethics in MPA program introduced.

1995
Prof. Liceria D. Lorenzo (Faculty Assistant) Tapped donors for professorial chairholders for research, GS Silver Anniversary Celebration.

1997
Successful passing of Level I Status in Accreditation by AACCUP on March 13, 1997.

1998
Dr. Victoria C. Naval (PUP-GS Dean July 1998) Change of leadership in PUP-GS.

Dr. Ofelia M. Carague (PUP President-November 1998 Dr. Victoria C. Naval PUP-GS Dean-reappointed Prof. Milagrina A. Gomez (GS Secretary till Dec ’98) Prof. Flordeliz Z. Yboa (Faculty Assistant) Change of leadership in PUP, New GS Five-Year Development Plan, First Grand GS Alumni Homecoming held, First GS Research Advocacy Seminar Workshop held, Research Development Plan framed, GS Research Journal (Graduate Forum) rebirth, GS Maiden Newsletter published.

1999
Prof. Leodegario S. Bautista (GS Secretary in 1999) Dr. Melly L.Paraiso (Chief, Research and Ext.) Research and Extension Services Office created, MA in Filipino and MS Math. Education offered, national and international linkages established, GS Graduate Student Manual and Faculty Manual published, First Research Forum held, Monographs published, initiated educational technology program (Internet, LAN, e-Library and others), awarded (formal visit) Level II accreditation by AACCUP (March 13,1999 to March 12, 2002).

2000
GS Management Information System launched, MS in Earthquake Engineering and MSIT offered, acquired computer equipment for its Computer Center and Center for Data Analysis, established Centers for Student Services: R&D Center, Psycho and Testing Center, Accreditation Center, Reading Center, GS Pearl Anniversary.

2001
Revision of all graduate curricular programs with approval of PUP Board of Regents, forged links between industry-based practitioners and academic sector, 31st GS Foundation Anniversary.

2002
Dr. Irene D. Amores Chair, MLIS Master in Library/Information Science offered, New and re-furbished Accreditation Center, Programmatic Accreditation, Awarded Level II - Re-accredited Status (First Re-survey Visit) by AACCUP (March 13, 2002 – March 12, 2007), E-linked Courses launched, 32nd GS Foundation Anniversary.

2003
Dr. Ofelia M. Carague Retired as PUP President (April 20, 2003), Dr. Samuel M. Salvador Appointed (Officer-in-Charge), Dr. Victoria C. Naval PUP-GS Dean re-appointed, Change of leadership in PUP , PUP-GS launched Revised Research Agenda along the areas of policy analysis and impact assessment and evaluation, network and linkages intensified, research funding strengthened, quality standards on accreditation and centers of excellence renewed, centennial celebration development plan framed, GS 33rd Foundation Anniversary successfully held, Christmas and Outreach Program sustained. 58 students awarded master's and doctoral degrees. Dr. Marietta P. Demelino (Chief, GS Research and Extension) Dr. Joseph Mercado (Faculty Researcher).

2004
Dr. Joseph Mercado (Chief, GS Research and Extension), CHED FAPE Evaluation of Graduate Education in the Philippines (EGEP) of PUP-GS Programs in Business Administration, Public Administration, and Business Education (master’s and doctoral levels), , tracer study of graduates, Web-enhanced curriculum and instruction, MBA-Online Project, Faculty and student international academic exchange, Improved SIS, ICT-mediated applications, World’s Largest Human Rainbow, GS 34th Foundation Anniversary, Christmas and Outreach programs sustained.

2005
Dr. Dante G. Guevarra Appointed (PUP Officer-in-Charge), Dr. Victoria C. Naval PUP-GS Dean re-appointed, Dr. Joseph Mercado (GS Secretary), Dr. Danilo T. Reyes (Chief, GS Research and Extension Office), Change in leadership in PUP, GS Coral Anniversary, Conferred honorary degrees in business administration to Dr. Alfredo M. Yao and Dr. Antonio P. Tecson, GS Strategic Planning, International Conference on Quality Education and Business Competitiveness, National Seminar on Role of Education in the Attainment of UN Development Goals, MBA-Online Project, Academic exchange in Taiwan, Study tours and conferences in Malaysia and Singapore, 351 graduates awarded master's and doctoral degrees.
