Admission Requirements for Master's Program
For admission into the Master’s program, the candidate must:
- Must be a holder of an appropriate bachelor’s degree from
universities and colleges of recognized standing.
If the bachelor’s degree is from a non-related course, the applicant
will have to enroll in eighteen (18) units of prerequisite subjects
which shall be determined by the Academic Program Chair/Dean.
- Must have a grade point average of 2.0, B, or 85% in the
baccalaureate course.
- Must pass the graduate admission examination
- Pass an interview with the Academic Program Chair/Dean.
- Demonstrate English proficiency.
- Possess computer literacy
- Submit all documents required by the Graduate School.
Those who cannot meet the requirements can apply and may be admitted
on probation. He will be allowed to take not more than six (6) units of
graduate work after which he should request the Dean through the Office
of the Graduate School for evaluation and reclassification to classified
graduate standing in order to continue with his graduate work.
Entrance Examination Requirements
An applicant for admission must furnish the Graduate School with the
following documents:
- Transcript of records (one original and one photocopy)
- Two (2) 2x2 inch picture with your full name pictured on the
photo
- A certificate of good moral character coming from employer or,
if unemployed, from the Barangay Official where the applicant
resides;
- A certificate of employment or record of service, if the
applicant is employed;
- Medical certificate;
- Certified true copy of the birth certificate (original and one
photo copy)
- A photo copy of marriage contract (for married female students)
Retention Requirements
A student who obtained at least two (2) failing grades in any of the
subjects shall be disqualified from pursuing any program in the Graduate
School.
The student shall complete the master’s program within five (5) years
from the date of his first enrolment otherwise he shall be required to
take nine (9) units of refresher courses. His grade in these refresher
courses shall either be PASSED or FAILED. |
