Statistics
 A series of data and analysis often
depict interesting trends,
patterns, and surprises. PUPWebSite Statistics is updated on a
monthly (and sometimes weekly or daily) basis to reflect
interesting graphs related to PUPWebSite.

Data gathering began mid-August 2002.
This explains why all browsers in the month of August are all
zero.
How data is gathered
Everytime you visit PUPWebSite, information from your computer,
which are relevant in building the stats are collected by the
PUPWebSite analysis engine. Information
includes the browser, operating system, your current location, and your browser's language settings.
PUPWebSite does not (and will not) collect critical data
such as your personal information, your passwords, or anything of
the like.
Whatever part of PUPWebSite, analysis only takes place upon
your initial connection to the site (not on every page that you
visit). If you access PUPWebSite with the same browser, operating
system, location, and language, your visit will be counted but
PUPWebSite will not save the same information anymore. This
decreases redundant data when the information is being saved in our
database. Only when there is a significant change in the set of
information will it be saved in the database as a new entry. The
data in this page does not include the traffic within the PUP
Network. The PUPWebSite Analysis Engine screens internal
and external traffic in PUPWebSite. If we were to include
the internal traffic data (when the site is accessed within the
PUP Network), this would dramatically increase the values and
would not present a reliable and realistic graph.
"Other" depicts browsers and operating
systems not yet known by the Analysis Engine of PUPWebSite.
The "Number of Visitors" plot depicts the
graphical representation of the number of hits PUPWebSite has
been getting on a monthly basis. The "Visitor
Trend" plot depicts the accumulated hits since September
2002.
