Santa Rosa Dominates PUP's Academic Tilts

Santa Rosa Campus brought home the perpetual Obelisk Trophy for being the Over-all Champion in the recently concluded Academic Contest during the PUP’s 107th Founding Anniversary.

Surprised in the turn out of events, the Rosenians were overwhelmed knowing they batted over other campuses and colleges. This marked when PUP Santa Rosa ranked 1st place in Essay Writing, in Pagsulat ng Sanaysay, and in Gen. Science Quiz Bee; 2nd place in ICT Quiz Bee; 3rd place in Basic Math, and in the Impromptu Speaking Contest; while in other contests, they were 4th place in Basic Accounting Quiz Bee, and in Non-ICT Programming Contest; 5th place in Social Science Quiz Bee; and 9th place in Philippine History, Culture and the Arts.

Dir. Chat Montemayor and the faculty are positive in keeping the academic excellence of the PUP Rosenians. Even in the field of sports, Santa Rosa smashed the opponents thus, emerged as Champion in Volleyball men’s division during the 1st Triangular Meet (Southern Area) held in PUP Sto. Tomas, Batangas as preliminary activity of the university’s anniversary.
