Dr. Mely M. Padilla, PUP Campus Observer, Volume 1, Issue 3, January 2012It is PUPCET time once more. Expect the turnout of a horde of applicants on campus for two Sundays.
Since PUP has slot for a mere 8,000 incoming freshmen each year, we are inclined to believe that those who make it are really deserving, intelligent ones.
But at the end of a term, why do some of them get a failing grade or an incomplete remark? What has happened in between? Something may have gone wrong somewhere. Who are or is to blame? the students themselves? the teacher? both?
Oh, my goodness, whoever is or are responsible, this has to be looked into. Imagine the waste of resources, the much-touted meager PUP resources! No finger-pointing, please.... Let’s all work toward doing something about this, and fast! If this isn’t a problem, then, what is?
