Transparent, Participatory Leadership: PUP Community Meets President ECDGRuby Gapasin and Dan Esponilla Dalac, Information Broadcast, Public Affairs Office
The PUP Community got the opportunity to have a close encounter with the University President in various meetings this June where faculty, students and administrative officials freely express their plans, projects and perspectives on several concerns.
President de Guzman started the School Year 2012-2013 by presenting his plans towards progressive change and by asking the community’s participation in clearing the paths while laying new foundations to transform PUP into a reputable academic, intellectual and professional epistemic community. This initiative by the President is one of his principles of governance which is transparent-participatory.
As the President marked his first hundred days, he reported a three-month administrative accomplishments in separate assemblies held June 25 with the Administrative and Academic Council and last June 28 with the student leaders
