Dr. Ruiz Presents Research in Taipei

Dr. Adela Jamorabo-Ruiz, PUP Graduate School and College of Nutrition and Food Science faculty member, was invited as resource speaker in a continuing professional education activity of dietitians in Taiwan last May.

The Food and Nutrition Department of the Taipei Veterans General Hospital (TVGH) headed by Dr. Chwang Lei-chii initiated the activity where 25 registered dietitians and heads of nutrition schools in Taipei gathered. Dr. Ruiz shared her study on “Concepts Learned and Problems Encountered in Hospital and Community Practicum of BSND Students”.

TVGH serves as a training institution for medicine and allied health professions including students on practicum, internship and on-the-job training.
