Overview

Students of this University are called Iskolar ng Bayan (Scholars of the Nation) because the Philippine Government and other non-government institutions subsidizes most of their tuition and other fees. 

Approximately there are 52,000 students in PUP (more than 30,000 in the Manila campus alone).  Majority of our students belong to the middle-class and economically-challenged level of society.
