The Freedom of Information (FOI) Program is an integral part of the government’s campaign towards transparency, accountability, and active citizen engagement. The Executive Order on the FOI was signed on July 23, 2016, and the FOI program materialized four months later together with the electronic FOI portal.
In line with these efforts, a Rapid Survey on the FOI Program is being conducted, which seeks to assess 1) the quality of information services provided by government agencies covered by the FOI program from the perspective of citizens; and 2) the level of awareness across government in terms of operationalizing the people’s right to information.
We request for your participation in the survey, which is open until November 24, 2017. Your feedback will help the PCOO improve the quality of FOI services provided to citizens and national government agencies. We assure that your answers will remain confidential, and will only be used to guide the future direction and priority activities of the Program.
