Pag-asa Steel seeks an IT Systems Analyst who will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and documenting the users’ business needs and determining and implementing the best solution to address these needs
Duties and Responsibilities: Conducting business process analysis, needs assessment, requirements definition, and design studies Collecting information to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems Liaising and communicating with the users in the development of new systems Analyzing and evaluating present or proposed business procedures or problems Conducting technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current system Presenting results of system study and design to users and immediate superior Formulating and developing project plans for approved business solution Devising plans for the development, testing, migration and implementation of enterprise-wide systems Performing quality assurance testing of systems/fixes/modules/programs before and after they are implemented Writing and maintaining a system documentation and reports Training users on the use of system and application program/software Investigating and resolving incident reports and errors encountered by users in processes and applications Assisting in the testing and implementation of disaster recovery procedures Assisting in the implementation of IT projects as needed
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, other related IT course, or equivalent experience At least four (4) years experience in a related field, specialized training required in systems analysis and design, program logic formulation and programming Understanding of business processes, IT architecture, systems, and programming Knowledge of Windows, SQL, MS Office, report generation, systems and manual documentation Knowledge in ERP systems an advantage Familiarity with emerging technology and IT security Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Project management, risk management, and time management skills Interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently Ability to multi-task, adapt, and learn quickly Superior organization skills and attention to detail Drive, motivation, and positive attitude (willingness to accept feedback, learn, and improve) Integrity, excellence, professionalism, and teamwork
