Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) – College of Communication (COC) Advertising and Public Relations (ADPR) professor and granddaughter of National Artist Vicente Manansala, Prof. Ronna Manansala has been featured as one of the outstanding visual artists in the “My City, My SM, My Art.”
Launched just in time for the National Arts Month, “My City, My SM, My Art” is a celebration of Philippine Visual Arts – painting, culture, sculpture, photography, and filmmaking. It honors various artists around the SM Supermalls promoting their astonishing works of art.
In 2019, Prof. Manansala was chosen as one of the 100 Women Heritage Keepers featured in the photo exhibition at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP).
Her crafts were also featured internationally in 2011 Filipinism group exhibits in Germany, Austria, and United Kingdom, and 2014 Life of Dr. Jose Rizal in Europe group exhibits in Italy, United Kingdom, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, and Belgium.
Prof. Manansala took her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts major in Advertising at the College of Holy Spirit and finished her master’s degree in Fine Arts in Painting and Sculpture at the University of Santo Tomas Graduate School.
