PUP grad finalist in TOSP-NCR

Polytechnic University of the Philippine's Alumnus Romeo Latoza Jr., was selected as one of the regional finalists for the 57th Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) - National Capital Region (NCR).

TOSP is a nonprofit organization that aims to establish role models, motivating the youth to help the nation, promote the common good, and develop and share talents, skills, values as main avenues for nation building, learning, leading and serving for life.

Twenty students were selected from different schools and universities in NCR. Aside from Latoza, other finalists were students from University of the Philippines, University of Sto. Tomas, Ateneo de Manila University, Colegio de San Juna de Letran, Far Eastern University-Manila, University of the East - Manila, De La Salle University, Lyceum of the Philippines University-Manila, Jose Rizal University, and FEU Institute of Technology.

Latoza is currently the assistant manager of the HSBC Electronic Data Processing (Philippines), Inc. He graduated magna cum laude last May, was recognized as one of the 2018 university class valedictorians and the recipient of the Outstanding Scholar of the Year 2018.
