College of Communication Department of Journalism Chairperson Prof. Hemmady Mora showed the skills and intelligence of a PUPian as she served as one of the international trainors in the recently concluded International Faculty Development Program (IFDP) held in Chandigarh University (C.U.) in Chandigarh, India on July 9 to 14, 2018.
Prof. Mora was the lone Filipino professor who was given the chance to train faculty members of the Institute of Media Studies of C.U. Aside from her, other trainors came from partner-universities in USA, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and other ASEAN countries. This is only one of the lined-up faculty immersion projects with international schools and universities.
The said academic undertaking was in line with C.U.’s Foundation Celebration.
The event was made possible through a Memorandum of Agreement on Faculty Exchanges for Training and Extension through the effort of PUP Office of International Affairs headed by Director Maria Teresa C. Villar, and C.U.’s International Relations headed by Deputy Director Prof. Rajan Sharma.
