The Polytechnic University of the Philippines College of Communication's Bachelor of Arts in Communication Research students were accepted for a Research Presentation to the Maltepe University International Students Congress (MUISC) 2021 on Humanities And Social Sciences (HUMSOS) in Istanbul, Turkey on June 2-4, 2021.
MUISC has hosted students from all over the world since 2013, allowing them to express and exchange research interests and ideas on a variety of important issues in their respective fields of study.
Ms. Gertrude A. Abarentos, Mr. Diether B. Navarosa, and Ms. Jezreel Joyce M. Sevilla of BACR 3-1N will present their study, "Education and the Coronavirus: A Quantitative Analysis on Metro Manila Undergraduate Students' Academic Motivation and Socioeconomic Status During the COVID-19 Pandemic," while Ms. Jannelle M. Molina, Ms. Kristine Paola V. Caña, and Ms. Jezzlyne Jireh Joy M. Tejano will present their research titled “An Analysis of Smartphone Addiction and Perceived Stress Among the Students in the Philippines During the COVID-19 Pandemic.”
The Polytechnic University of the Philippines, is among the country representatives that actively participated with other learning institutions from Georgia, Turkey, Russia, Romania, Slovenia, India, Algeria, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Austria, South Africa, Slovakia, Cuba, Greece, North Macedonia, Albania, Latvia and Peru.
