The PUP Open University System (PUP-OUS) through the Institute of Continuing Professional Development (ICPD) has held part of the workforce training series titled Bridging Gaps: National Training on Human Relations & Conflict Resolution on September 13 and 14, 2018 at the Bulwagang Bonifacio, Ninoy Aquino Library and Learning Resource Center, PUP Sta. Mesa.
The first day of the training was facilitated by the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship Program Chair and Head of Instructional Materials Production Office, Prof. Jerome B. Dumlao and discussed the Importance of Human Relations and Conflict Resolutions within the workplace. Several activities were also given to the participants to further understand the ideas shared.
Publications Office Director Dr. Angelina E. Borican led the next day training and tackled about the Role of Communication in Conflict Resolution and Management Styles; Meanwhile, a lecture on Anti-Sexual Harassment in the Workplace has been discussed by the Office of Legal Aid Chief Atty. Maria Cristina R. Gimenez and by the Assistant to the Executive Vice President Prof. Malaya A. Ygot.
The two-day training was attended by participants from Carlos Hilado Memorial State College, Commission on Human Rights, Philippine Nuclear Research Institute, Pangasinan State University, Social Security System, Philippine Children’s Medical Center, and from PUP-ICT Office and HRDM office.
