University of Michigan Educated-Scholar Prof. Mark Gordon delivered a lecture in the seminar held at the Bulwagang Bonifacio of the Ninoy Aquino Library Learning Resources Center, PUP Main Campus on April 8, 2017.
The event was organized by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines' Institute for Cultural Studies in cooperation with the Department of History and the Department of Philosophy and Humanities with the theme "Lost History of the Philippines: Arts and Culture before the Spanish Occupation".
Prof. Gordon discussed the importance of the Philippine history and its rich arts and culture even before the Spanish colonization. After the lecture, several faculty members and students participated in an open forum.
Official present during the program were Dr. Evangeline Seril, Dean of the College of Arts and Letters, Prof. Maria Teresa Villar, Director of International Affairs, and Prof. Joseph Reylan Viray the Director of Institute for Cultural Studies.
