University Center for Culture and the Arts, and Goethe-Institute Philippinen organized a photography exhibition for Barbara Klemm, one of Germany's most distinguished photographers.
The exhibit titled “Barbara Klemm: Helldunkel-Light and Dark” gave an overview of the last forty years of German history through photos. The photos were taken before and after the unification of East and West Germany. It captured tense and memorable moments of German citizens.
This exhibit aimed to equip students and faculty members of knowledge about Germany, its history, and culture.
The photographs will be exhibited at the Ninoy Aquino Library and Resource Center (NALRC) PUP Main Campus from June 20, 2018, to Aug 03, 2018 8 am to 5 pm.
Introducing Documentary Photography
Dr. Ursula Zeller, one of the curators of Klemm’s exhibit, also gave a free lecture about Documentary Photography in Germany. She discussed the 160-years evolution of Germany through black and white photos.
The lecture was held on June 22, 2018, at the NALLRC Bulwagang Bonifacio, and attended by students, faculty members, and administrative employees.
