The Steering Committee of the 10th Annual Research Awards (10th ARAW) releases the finalists for the Scientific, Innovation and Commercialization Research categories as follows:
The theme for this year’s ARAW is “Isang Dekada ng Pagtataguyod ng Agham para sa Masa Tungo sa Pambansang Kaunlaran”. The event will give due recognition to the importance of scaling up the technology to permit economic structural transformation and the implementation of engineering strategies that will draw the framework for the national development.

The ARAW is a brainchild of Dr. Manuel M. Muhi which started since 2007 when he was still the Dean of the College of Engineering. The main purpose is to give due recognition to laudable researches of engineering students around the country, that is inspired to advance the welfare of the Filipino people, especially the poor.
The ARAW event is in partnership with the agencies of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST): DOST-TAPI, DOST- PCIEERD and DOST- NCR and endorsed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC).
