PUPian sophomore student Janella Ventura from the Department of Advertising and Public Relations is now ready to conquer the prestigious stage of Miss Universe Philippines as one of the official delegates in this year's pageant.
Ventura at the young age of 20 is already an author, had published her book titled 'Warm Blankets in Cold Midnights,' and sets her advocacy in helping children with cancer.
Janella is not new in the pageant scene. In September 2019, she won the title of Festival Queen of San Rafael province of Bulacan.
Ventura will compete against the other 99 delegates who passed the screening process to be the official bearer of the country's crown in the international pageant. From 100, the delegates will be reduced to 75, then into 50, and finally 30. The remaining 30 candidates will compete in the live competition and will be followed by the coronation night scheduled on September 25, 2021.
PUPians can support Janella by downloading the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPh) app for exclusive access and online voting.
