Around 40 instructors joined the Trainers’ Training on Green Track Course and Participatory Action Research organized by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). The activity was held from September 8 to 10 in Boso-boso, Antipolo City, Rizal.
The DILG regional office in the National Capital Region sponsored the three-day capacity-building activity on environment, climate change and solid waste management for the National Service Training Program (NSTP) instructors of PUP Manila, PUP Taguig City, PUP Quezon City, PUP San Juan City and PUP Parañaque City.
Graced by Dr. Rovelina B. Jacolbia of the PUP NSTP Office and Prof. Joey Pinalas of the PUP Center for Environmental Studies, the training featured speakers from DILG-NCR (which included some PUP alumni), Miriam College and the University of the Philippines.
