Employees from Philippine Broadcasting Service (PBS) attended Bead and Jewelry Making and Basic Marketing Strategies seminar organized by the Center for Technology Transfer and Enterprise Development under the Intellectual Property Management Office, of the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Development, and in cooperation with the Philippine Broadcasting Service – Bureau of Broadcast Service on May 12, 2017.
The program was officially opened by Director General Rizal Giovanni P. Aportadera while Mr. Remegio Sampang introduced the trainers, Prof. Zenaida D. San Agustin from the College of Business Administration (Beads/Jewelry marking) and Prof. Jerielyn V. Reyes from the Department of Advertising, College of Communication, for Basic Marketing Strategies.
Prof. Perla Patriarca from CTTED delivered a short introduction on the importance of an entrepreneur’s knowledge on basic marketing strategies such as product branding, label design and packaging.
Prof. Jerielyn Reyes, the second trainer, emphasized on the importance of Brand Name, Labeling, and Packaging.
The training program ended with words of encouragement from the CTTED Chief, Prof. Perla B. Patriarca who also served as the program host of the day.
