Entrance Test: PUP College Entrance Test (PUPCET 2019)

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines is accepting online application for its College Entrance Test (PUPCET) for the First Semester, Academic Year 2019-2020.

Advisories 

For PUP Sta. Mesa, Manila: The PUP College Entrance Test (PUPCET) Fourth and Fifth batches for the Academic Year 2019-2020 at PUP Sta. Mesa, Manila are on:

  • February 23, 2019 (Saturday)
  • February 24, 2019 (Sunday)

All examinees are not allowed to bring cellphone, calculator, ipad and other related gadgets to the test venue. They must only have with them the following:

  1. Test Permit printed in color.
  2. Two (2) pcs. lead pencil with eraser/sharpener
  3. 1 pc. 2” x 2” photo (same photo printed on your test permit)
  4. High School ID currently issued by your school official

For PUP San Juan Campus: Due to certain unavoidable circumstances, PUPCET in PUP San Juan Campus scheduled on November 25, 2018 is moved to February 10, 2019 (same time and venue). Examinees are to bring the issued test permit and other stated requirements on the rescheduled examination day. For inquiries, please contact the PUP San Juan Campus Admission Office at 579-4792 or 632-7738.

For PUP Unisan Branch: The PUPCET in PUP Unisan Branch, Quezon has been rescheduled to April 6, 2019. Please be guided accordingly.

Who are qualified to take the PUP College Entrance Test (PUPCET)?

Qualified to apply are:

  • Grade 12 students expected to graduate at the end of School Year 2018-2019, and those who graduated from K-12 pilot schools who have not enrolled in any technical / diploma / degree program immediately after graduation with GWA of 82% or higher.
  • A Philippine Educational Placement Test (PEPT) passer, eligible for admission to college with an average rating of 82% or higher in its 5 subject areas: Mathematics, Communication Arts (English), Science, Communication Arts (Filipino) and Araling Panlipunan.
  • An Alternative Learning System Accreditation & Equivalency (ALS) Test for Secondary Level passer, eligible for admission to college: with Percentile Correct (PC) 82% or higher and has 100 or higher Standard Score (SS) with Essay Writing of 82% of higher following DepEd regulations.
  • Graduated in 2016 or earlier years but did not enter college / technical / diploma / degree program in any school.
