BA Broadcasting is a field of study that traditionally covers the transmission of messages to the public through the media of radio and television. This field has expanded and include non-traditional internet-based multi-platform media. The study includes contemporary practices in broadcasting, theories, and discourses which shape the generation of knowledge about broadcasting.
The PUP College of Communication hones its graduates for meaningful profession through learning experiences that are imbued with critical and innovative thinking, effective communication, cultural and ethical values, leadership skills, and active socio-civic collaboration.
The College assures that the graduates shall possess the identity of competent and responsible communicators and media practitioners that establishes career distinction from other fields.
These well-rounded graduates possess the abilities to translate individual and professional accomplishments and achievements worthy of local, national and global competitiveness.
Programs Learning Outcomes
The student should maintain a general weighted average of 2.5 in all his major subjects in order to maintain his residency in the program.
The student shall fulfill all the requirements prescribed by the University for Graduation. Also, the student must be able to pass all the required courses of the AB Broadcast Communication Program.
