Description: I. JOB IDENTIFICATION Position Title- Multimedia Supervisor / Officer Department- Marketing II. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP Reports to Marketing Services Manager III. JOB SUMMARY The position holder will be responsible will be responsible for all art works requirements utilizing a variety of media in order to achieve the desired artistic effects. He will also be responsible for the conceptualization and application of approved designs based on guidelines and specifications described in project briefs for advertising and promotional projects / endeavors.

The position holder will be responsible will be responsible for all art works requirements utilizing a variety of media in order to achieve the desired artistic effects. He will also be responsible for the conceptualization and application of approved designs based on guidelines and specifications described in project briefs for advertising and promotional projects / endeavors.
Duties and Responsibilities: Conceptualize and develop design graphic applications, e.g. collateral material, corporate identity, film titling, multimedia interfaces, etc. based on agreed project briefs and or as may be directed by superior. Prepare and submit design concepts and design lay-outs or mockup of advertising and marketing collateral including all other related design projects or assignments for superior’s and requesting units review and approval. Coordinate with various departments, e.g. sales and marketing, etc. and all other functional units with regard to their design and art work requirements. Canvass and recommend reliable third-party agencies to superior for approval. Ensure timely submission of approved design (s) and or art works to requesting unit/s intended for commissioned third party agencies for project implementation / application. Ensure that all applications of approved designs and art works comply with specifications as described and agreed upon in project briefs. Monitor the working progress of contractors and external production artists, e.g. printers, photographers, etc. Contribute to the quality, timely and efficient completion of the workload of the whole Marketing Services team
Qualifications: • MINIMUM QUALIFICATION GUIDELINESAge- 25-45Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Multimedia ArtsExperience- 1-2 years’ work experience related to advertising, promotions, merchandising; or, Preferably with Digital Marketing agency backgroundSkills- Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Aftereffects) • KEY COMPETENCIES• Highly creative and resourceful with broad knowledge and skills in Visual Communication / Advertising • Good oral and written communication skills• Creative Thinking - the ability to take something incomplete and turn into a remarkable output.• Print Design and Layout - an understanding of digital print production. The ability to use a page layout program also sometimes called a desktop publishing program (Adobe¬Æ, InDesign¬Æ) is vital as well. Print design also requires an understanding of concepts like color separations, grid layout, and master pages.• Web Design - a clear understanding of web development is more essential than ever in an age where online advertising, and web presence are essential to every marketing campaign. Graphic Designers are usually expected to have some basic understanding of HTML and CSS, as well as web design standards• Typography - a firm understanding of font families, appropriate use of line-height, kerning and tracking. The advertising industry is primarily about communication and therefore needs clean, readable, well designed type.• Photography• Artistic skills in special effects, computer animation, and other visual designs. • Ability to operate an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)/drone.
