Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing new sales relationships and maintaining existing relationships with customers
  • Conducting regular customer visits to gather information on their financial situation, as well as current and future sales requirements
  • Following market movements, construction industry activities, and steel price levels
  • Recommending and seeking approval for product pricing and payment terms
  • Preparing formal quotations for customers
  • Reviewing customer credit standing and recommending credit lines for deserving clients
  • Coordinating with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries to customers
  • Collecting payments from clients and monitoring credit limits against actual payments received
  • Attending to customer complaints and promptly resolving issues raised
  • Preparing regular reports on sales, missed business, sales forecasts, and collection forecasts
  • Providing training to new sales employees

Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will exhibit the following

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field, preferably business or economics
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial sales preferred
  • Superior organization skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Good driving skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Drive, motivation, and positive attitude
  • willingness to accept feedback, learn, and improve
  • Integrity, excellence, professionalism, and teamwork
