Description: Pag-asa Steel seeks Storekeeper who is responsible for receiving, storing, inventorying and issuing supplies, tools, equipment, spare parts, and other stock items. The Storekeeper will report to Stores Supervisor.
Pag-asa Steel seeks Storekeeper who is responsible for receiving, storing, inventorying and issuing supplies, tools, equipment, spare parts, and other stock items. The Storekeeper will report to Stores Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities: Checking delivery documents, inspecting and accepting delivered items, and acknowledging and recording receipt of incoming deliveries Receiving invoice/delivery receipt from supplier and ensuring that there is an authority to receive at Purchase Requisition (PR) file and/or ERIC System Purchase Order (PO) file Checking completeness of document by comparing items in P.O. against delivery receipt Preparing Storekeeper’s Report and routing it for the initial approval of the requisitioning unit’s supervisor, Engineering Manager/Plant Operations Manager, and the Plant Manager Filling-up Purchase Return Slip (PRS) for rejected items Recording and registering all receipts (Delivery Receipt or Invoice) in the Receiving logbook Attending to the issuance of stock items from storeroom or from satellite store assigned Preparing Stock Transfer Slip (STS) to physically transfer stock items from one location to another within the storeroom or to another satellite area Coordinating with supervisor regarding out-of-stock items and conducting monthly cycle counts Tagging and labeling all incoming items with pertinent data prior to proper storage Reviewing Re-order Report and preparing Purchase Requisition if necessary Performing other related tasks that may be assigned by supervisor
Qualifications: Technical / Vocational Course Graduate or Bachelor’s Degree (Undergraduate) of any field At least three months of work related experience in industrial or manufacturing set-up Strong administrative, and records management skills Has good numerical skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently Ability to multi-task, adapt, and learn quickly Good computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) Integrity, excellence, professionalism, and teamwork
