Description: Reports to SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER The Inventory Assistant will assist management in the implementation of a formal program toaudit all areas related to inventory movement for integrity and accuracy.
Reports to SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER The Inventory Assistant will assist management in the implementation of a formal program toaudit all areas related to inventory movement for integrity and accuracy.
Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure timely posting of all inventory related transaction on a daily basis in Main Warehouse and Branches. Inventory transactions pertain to Stock Transfer, Stock Transfer Out, Stock Transfer In, Sales Return, Beginning Balance Adjustment, Miscellaneous Receipt, and Delivery Receipt Does physical count of all stocks deliveries in warehouse and stores. Ensure correctness of actual quantity for receiving Compare inventories versus records such as warehouse records, or purchase orders, invoices to obtain current inventory and be available for allocation or store orders. Compares inventory data in systems versus actual count, and does necessary reconciliation Verifies actual counts in Warehouse and branches especially the variances. Reviews, analyzes and checks inventory variances prior recommendation for variance posting. Makes available supporting details/data for any inventory variances. Coordinates with Sales, Accounting, and Warehouse in charge relating to inventory matters Suggest any ideas that can expedite and improve Inventory Reconciliation and Management Be a team player and perform other tasks assigned if necessary
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree of any four (4) year business degree courses. With 2 to 3 years’ experience in the same capacity, experienced in retail industries, an advantage but not required. Demonstrate strong attention to details. Proficient typing ability. Business software knowledge. Proficient in using computer applications such as Microsoft Windows, (Outlook, Word, Excel e/g. Pivot & Vlookup) Willing to report in Makati
