Duties and Responsibilities: Identifying opportunities on which to submit bids and feeding into the decision over to bid for the work Devising a successful strategy for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling point of DBOS Inc., operating and profit margins and understanding the client’s specific requirements Must liaison with cost accountant/cost engineer/estimators who computes the price section of a bid Must liaison with specification writers who prepare the written section of a submission Must liaison with operational staff involved in the day-to-day running of the resulting contract if the bid is successful Ensures the final submitted bid is clear, concise, consistent and fully compliant with the needs of the client Ensures bids are successful and at a price at which the organization can make a profit Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid being worked on Managing budgets and tracking costs Negotiating with specialist suppliers or subcontractors Responding to client and management queries before, during and after the bid has been submitted If the bid is successful, briefing the teams who will carry out the project work.
Qualifications: Preferably graduate of Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Industrial Engineering or related course Male / Female With vast experience in handling government biddings Willing to learn DBOS Inc.’s wide array of products Good with numbers, processes involved with the product bidded Can understand and interpret correctly the requirement of the bid Must be able to think clearly and quickly Must remain calm under pressure Team player
