Pag-asa Steel seeks a Sales Account Executive who will be responsible for covering key accounts, developing new client relationships, and supervising other sales staff when required.
Duties and Responsibilities: Developing new sales relationships and maintaining existing relationships with large customers Conducting regular customer visits to gather information on their financial situation, as well as current and future sales requirements Following market movements, construction industry activities, and steel price levels Recommending and seeking approval for product pricing and payment terms Preparing formal quotations for customers Reviewing customer credit standing and recommending credit lines for deserving clients Coordinating with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries to customers Collecting payments from clients and monitoring credit limits against actual payments received Attending to customer complaints and promptly resolving issues raised Preparing regular reports on sales, missed business, sales forecasts, and collection forecasts Providing training to new sales employees Performing other related tasks that may be assigned by supervisor from time to time
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in any field, preferably business or economics 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial sales preferred Superior organization skills and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong project management and time management (prioritization) skills Interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently Good driving skills Computer proficiency Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) mandatory Drive, motivation, and positive attitude (willingness to accept feedback, learn, and improve) Integrity, excellence, professionalism, and teamwork
