Duties and Responsibilities: IMPORTS DOCUMENTATION Arranges/secures Import Entry Declaration (IED) Gathers advance copy of shipping documents from suppliers such as Bill of Lading (BL), Commercial Invoice (CI), Packing List (PL), Certificate of Origin (CO), Load Port Survey (LPS), and other pertinent documents as so required by Bureau of Customs (BOC). Ensures completeness and correctness of shipping documents by double checking against its corresponding Sales Contract. Endorses copy of Bill of Lading (BL), Commercial Invoice (CI), and Packing List (PL) to Finance for the purpose of facilitating banks' documentary requisites on the release of cargo (i.e., bank guarantee, bank certification on LC). ON-TIME DELIVERY Coordinates cargo arrival schedule with Supplier's Manila Agent Advises assigned broker on incoming shipment. Endorses shipping documents to broker and monitors processing & release of shipment. Requests the necessary fees for forwarders, shipping lines and BOC. Coordinates with receiving personnel on the arrival of the shipment. Obtains feedback from Receiving Personnel on the correctness of the delivery according to required quantity and specifications. SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT Facilitates creation of new suppliers to ERP system. Develops good rapport with suppliers for ease of transactions. DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT Ensures timely forwarding of service provider's billing to Accounting A/P to facilitate payment processing. Monitoring of refundable deposits (e.g., container deposits, advances and/or overpayment for services to Port facility, Providers) Maintains Importation files per shipment. Prepares reports such as: BIR VAT Report (monthly), import Status Update (weekly) and Shipment Valuation report that may be required when needed.

Qualifications: Graduate of BS Customs Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain Management 2 years of work experience in a related field Knowledgeable in import logistics, coordination of delivery, purchasing, and supplier management. Well-versed in incoterms, computation of duties & taxes, importation & customs documentation, processing, and regulations. Effective communication, and negotiation skills Keen on details and has ability to coordinate and systematize functions into total structures.
