Description: To minimize overdue balances and credit risk in line with the Global Credit Policy, Terms, Conditions and Procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: The Credit Control Department is responsible for the final part of the O2C process. It is the role of this Department to ensure that the aging balance remains as current as possible and any overdue balances are identified and addressed within the terms of the Global Credit Policy. The Credit Risks represented to Elsevier by its customers is also determined and appropriate controls and procedures are developed to mitigate any losses through bad debt. Advice is provided by Credit Control to the business in respect of current credit risks represented by the customers. It is also the role of this Department to determine credit limits on account which allow growth related to sales for good rated customers and establish credit limits to mitigate the loss to the business from high risk customers. The Global Credit Policy is reviewed and circulated by this Department.

Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and at least one of the collection databases used within Elsevier.
Requirements: Minimal: Bachelor level or equivalent through on the job experience. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role. MUST be willing to work in UP Ayala Technohub, Quezon City
