Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Estimates the area of the whole structures thermal, sounds & fire rating insulation as per plan.
  • Perform routine and complex estimating works in quantifying take-off of residential buildings, industrial warehouses and/or commercial buildings.
  •  Estimate projects and provide supporting documentation accurately and within agreed time frames.
  •  Maintain and review projects to ensure all information is correct.
  •  Proactively communicate with project team on any issues arise
  •  Knowledgeable of the various codes and standards in construction
  •  Can read blueprints/drawings/specifications.
  •  Can handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Can work with minimum supervision.
  • Prepares Bill of Materials, Cost Estimates and Bidding Documents
  • Identify and quantify cost factors such as production time, materials and labor cost
  • Prepare data for project management’s review and assess effectiveness of recurring deficiencies and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or equivalent
  • At least 1 year experience as Quantity Surveyor or Estimator
  • Preferably with Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Exam)
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD will be an advantage.
  • Willing to be assigned in Project Site
  • Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
