Duties and Responsibilities: Join our Data team which focuses on Transportify's service quality and business insights.As a Data Engineer in the team, you will Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements. Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics. Work with Backend, Product, CS, Business, Finance... teams on product logic to provide reports and dashboards (data visualization). Work on the development of our enterprise-grade ecosystem of Data Analytics products (pipeline, crawler, analytics, distributed system, and real time fraud checking,...).

Qualifications: At least 1 year experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages Python Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases,query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
Requirements: Nice to Have Understanding of Linux Experience with PostgreSQL, Airflow, AsyncIO is a huge plus. Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc. WORK ARRANGEMENTS DURING PANDEMIC The assigned office of the Data Engineer is Transportify’s head office in Ortigas, Pasig City. However, given the pandemic situation, the Data Engineer will be on a "work-from-home" setup, except on days when in-person training is absolutely necessary. When it is deemed safe to return to the office, the company will revise the work location policies and the Data Engineer will be required to report to our office in Ortigas
