Description: The major responsibility of a supply chain analyst is to provide operations and database support, with focus on material management, spend and inventory analysis, ensuring business continuity to the organization. The analyst also offers inventory monitoring and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting for the business unit’s raw materials (RM) located in USA and rest of world (ROW). The job includes identifying opportunities and/or developing programs that will improve inventory days on hand (DOH), and/or track obsolescence. Furthermore, the analyst communicates the action plans to the business unit’s supply chain team both in Racine and Manila, and collaborates effectively with them to implement solutions that will drive improvement for inventory. Additional tasks include performing other functions given by the immediate superior/business unit contacts and supporting ComRes Manila Supply Chain initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities: Inventory Planning & Management- track inventory dollars and units, may include subsidiaries. provide and analyze monthly reporting as background data for exhibits needed in POR submittals, complexity reviews, board meetings, president’s council, and financial reviews. Monitor and track inventory value and DOH by product category. Publish RIP Inventory Monitoring Demand Management- Create S&OP Step Charts monthly to track Sales Group’s forecast. Update for Household Disposers (HHD) for Racine branch (RAC), Hot Water Dispenser (HWD – tanks & faucets), may include China, Lowes, and Home Depot. Provide FG Projected Inventory Forecast reporting Manila initiatives. Manage and maintain active participation in Organization Effectiveness, Operations Excellence, and Strategic Partnership to develop synergy between Manila Supply Chain and the Emerson business unit. Ad Hoc Requests. Perform other duties (e.g. special projects) as assigned and deemed necessary
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or any related field At least 2 years’ experience in supply chain, specifically material management and inventory functions Working knowledge in Supply Chain, with strong background in analysis, and/or quantitative problem-solving Knowledgeable in computer database programs, MRP systems (Oracle/JD Edwards), Cognos and other database structures Above-average skills in MS Excel (including pivot tables, lookups, macros), and knowledgeable in MS PowerPoint and other MS Office application Willing to work on a night shift schedule 8PM – 5AM
