Pag-asa Steel seeks a Recruiter who will be responsible for sourcing talent across various levels of the organization. Experienced candidates may be considered for supervisory positions.
Duties and Responsibilities: Designing and implementing overall recruiting strategy, including planning, processes, and programs Analyzing and addressing concerns on workforce planning, recruitment gaps, job market trends, and strategic sourcing Coordinating with department managers to determine staffing needs and ensure staffing goals are achieved Performing job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives Preparing and posting job descriptions to appropriate hiring channels, including job boards, social media, etc. Screening candidates, including reference and background checks Providing analytical and well-documented reports Maintaining professional relationships with pipeline of potential candidates for hiring and professional organizations Representing the company at recruiting and industry events Other HR tasks as needed (e.g., onboarding, training, career development, organizational design)
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management or equivalent experience Background in Psychometrics strongly preferred Previous work experience in recruitment and selection (either as an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter) Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviews, reference checks, etc.) Experience in both large corporate/industrial and smaller entrepreneurial environments a plus Experience in technical recruiting a plus Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.) Strong verbal and written communication skills Service orientation, outstanding interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently Superior organization skills and attention to detail Good computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) Initiative and a “can-do” attitude, including desire to make an impact in a fast-growing organization Integrity, excellence, professionalism, and teamwork
