Duties and Responsibilities:
Contribute to the production of all auction catalogues involving offerings for sales throughout the year. spend significant time working with auction items, learning the fundamentals of cataloguing, conditioning, and handling and interacting with Specialists and Departments; process consigned works of art for sale, organize property for presentation and exhibit; assist clients during preview weekend and sale week; participate in absentee and telephone bids; maintain department library and research materials
Knowledge of E-mail, spreadsheet, presentation software (MS office preferred); strong client service skills; excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including superior written and spoken communication
Preferably with experience working in the Arts; demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize; ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
