Description: Reports To Senior Audit Officer The Audit Staff brings a systematic and disciplined approach to inventory management fromreceipt of shipment to continuous accuracy checks of inventory stock records for material controland accounting purposes. You will investigate discrepancies, locate error sources from inventoryand initiate corrective actions.

The Audit Staff brings a systematic and disciplined approach to inventory management fromreceipt of shipment to continuous accuracy checks of inventory stock records for material controland accounting purposes. You will investigate discrepancies, locate error sources from inventoryand initiate corrective actions.
Duties and Responsibilities: Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over inventory management effectiveness, sales reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations Conduct regularly scheduled inventory in-store, department store, warehouse, outright & online store including inventory reconciliation with a stock custodian or sales personnel to discuss variances and all other tasks related to inventory management Checking of POS receipts and bank settlement Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt Conduct open box and store/warehouse audits Review, analyze and investigate to determine the source of an inventory discrepancy Correct errors in inventory counts Prepare and present reports that reflect audit results and document the process Encoding, preparation, and submission of audit reports such as shipment, stocks and supplies inventory, sales, store findings, gift cards, loyalty card usage/discount summary reports Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement Conduct follow up audits to monitor process improvements and corrective actions Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding the sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards
Qualifications: Proven working experience in Audit and/or Inventory Management Advanced computer skills in MS Office Knowledge of inventory audit standards and procedures Sound independent judgment Works well with others High attention to detail and excellent analytical and critical thinking skills Communicates clearly Willing to do fieldwork BS degree in Accounting or Finance, Business Administration, Management or Commerce Retail background is an advantagePage
