Description: Reports to FINANCE MANAGER & CFO Aid in the Company’s compliance with tax and reportorial requirements of Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR),Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bureau of Customs (BOC), local government units (LGUs) and other concerned regulatory agencies

Duties and Responsibilities: Provide audit schedules to facilitate the examination of booksAssist in month end closing and reports submissionMonitor, review, and conduct analysis on tax planning opportunities and strategies, tax risks, and other tax issuesHe/ She will be the point person for the coordination of external parties and internal customers with regards to queries and assessments.Facilitates and ensures timely tax returns preparation, submission and payment of tax dues, including submission of annual BIR and SEC filing requirements.Reviews corporate tax policies and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with the government regulations.Ensures that all taxes payable/paid are recorded in the books of the company.Monitors compliance to LGUs for permits, property taxes and other fees.Handles tax mapping in preparation to the financial statement and BIR audit.Handles requests of other departments related to tax compliance of the company and its employees.Assists the external auditors during audit of taxes and compliance transactions.Keeps abreast and updated on various BIR/SEC regulations.

Qualifications: Preferably CPA or Accounting graduate with at least 2 years’ experience in tax, payroll and bookkeepingWith experience in using an accounting system.Must have extensive knowledge on taxes and statutory reporting requirements.Must have strong organizational skills.Must have the ability to work independently and take initiative to set priorities and see projects through to completion.A team player with strong interpersonal skills who can work across multiple functions to achieve goals.Proficient in the use of various Microsoft Office applications.
