Description: Reports To Finance OfficerThe Finance Assistant for Accounts Payable and Financial Reporting performs daily accountingtasks that will support our financial team.Finance Assistant responsibilities include managing expense reports and receivables, enteringfinancial transactions into our internal databases, and reconciling invoices. You are also in chargeof tracking payables consistently and correctly. Ultimately, you will help our Accountingdepartment run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.

Duties and Responsibilities: Processing and disbursement of Accounts Payables Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies Check Statement of Account vs contract Checking liquidated receipts from cash advances Prepare vouchers and check payments, coordinating with the Accounting Assistant - A/R for checking and Accounting Assistant - External for releasing Recording disbursement of payments Negotiate payment arrangements when needed Issuance of gas receipts and summary report for Finance Director approval Enter financial transactions – receivables, collections, and disbursements into internal databases Preparing inventory for predetermined store/s or brand/s Check spreadsheets for accuracy Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records Financial reporting
Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar position Understanding of relevant laws and best practices Proficient in MS office and data entry; working knowledge of ERP software is a plus Comfortable with mathematics and financial data Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Great attention to detail Can keep confidential information and is trustworthy Excellent ability to organize and coordinate tasks BS/BA in accounting or relevant field
