A reputable local company and a market leader in the chemical products industry, is looking for a talented and energetic individual to join the company team and work toward penetrating new market segments to increase market share.
Duties and Responsibilities: Sell a variety of industrial chemicals to be used in different industries Keep management informed by submitting weekly activity and sales reports, such as daily call reports and weekly work plans. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. Develop and grow the commercial relationships of assigned leading industrial customers while prospecting for new accounts to increase market penetration. Manage sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities to commercial success. Forecast monthly sales to enable operations planning, introduce product innovations
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry or related field
Requirements: Minimum 1 year work experience in the industrial chemical sales Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Must be self-driven, motivated and result oriented Must be proficient in basic computer applications (i.e Microsoft Office) Must be a good team player
Skills: Analytical, Clerical, Creative, Critical Thinking, Decision-Making, Computer/Technical Literacy, Adaptability/Flexibility
