Description:
Duties and Responsibilities: Look for business opportunities and schedule meeting appointments Look for prospect clients and generate sales in accordance to assigned budget Secure new clients and continuously increase client portfolio Assist in all endeavors to achieve 24-hours respond time to sales query Maintain relationship with client by providing support, information and guidance Jot down and/or answer sales telephone inquiries; entertain walk in clients &/or suppliers Secure buying rates from airlines, shipping line, consolidators & agents Prepare, encode and file quotations Prepare shipment notification for approved orders Secure documentation requirements such as accomplishment report, collection report, sales report & other report as required by Sales Head and/or Top Management Monitor the shipments with operations and agents and keeping the clients informed of their current shipping status Monitor and assist collection of accounts receivables Maintain close coordination with operations/ accounting departments on the developments of all sales generated accounts including sales quota and collections Assist Sales Head in communicating with TM and other departments the needs, concerns and developments of Sales Dept Assist Sales Head in handling correspondence with international agents, local suppliers, customers and MBT group Perform other related functions that may be assigned by either Sales Head or TM as deemed necessary
Qualifications: Must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree, preferably major in Business Administration, Marketing, Export Management, Customs Administration, or other logistics-related course Background in Freight Forwarding and Customs Brokerage is an advantage; fresh graduates are welcome to apply as well Customer-oriented With excellent oral and written communication skills With sharp comprehension Can work with minimal supervision Organized, trustworthy and hardworking Will report onsite to Makati Office
