Duties and Responsibilities: Perform necessary transactional processing in his/her assignment. Perform account analysis, accruals, reconciliation, and reporting to support accounting cycles and business requirements. Handling queries from counterparts and customers (both internal and external) Evaluate key performance indicators (KPI) results to identify gaps and develop efficiency measures. Maintains a strong internal control environment to minimize the risk of internal control failures, andcontinuously advises on improvements of processes and standards. Ensures all control issues are flagged and the progress of resolutions are monitored. This includes applying appropriate internal controls incompliance with Stolt Nielsen’s Policies & Procedures, with IFRS or the applicable GAAP, and with relevant government or regulatory authorities. Develop and recommend new reports that will support and complement existing reports in accordance with the information needs of the customer. Helping managers define a strategy for improving work processes and putting those improvements in place. Support external and internal audits and ensure audit-worthiness of assigned accounts/reports/responsibilities and assist during regular internal and external audit. Other tasks which may be assigned by his/ her Supervisor/ Manager including projects to improve systems and processes.
Qualifications: 1-2 years of relevant combined working experience in End-to-end general accounting, financial analysis,and management reporting.Fresh graduates may also apply.Sound practical knowledge of IFRS, applicable GAAP, taxation laws, compliance, and controls.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Advanced Excel skills. Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Highly detail-oriented, good time management skills, able to thrive in a transitioning, high-pressureenvironment.Customer-oriented mindset and good interpersonal skills.Adaptability to change.Good Presentation skills.Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis and Management reporting.Experience in Budget and Cash Forecasting.Experience in handling Oracle, FCCS, and IMOS preferred.Experience working in a shared service environment, preferred.Experience in the shipping industry is an advantage.Experience in process migration, a plus.
