The Bookkeeper records the financial transactions and generates reports from that records.  The recording of financial transactions includes postings to the Books of Accounts of data from received cash / checks, check vouchers and adjusting entries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Books of Accounts of the company and its affiliates.
  • Ensure that correct entries are printed in the check vouchers and record properly.
  • Ensure the accuracy of recorded transactions and reconciles accounts by performing a monthly Bank Reconciliation.
  • Prepares monthly Trial Balance for Financial Statement preparation / presentation to be presented to the CFO.
  • Provides information to the External Auditor who examines the company’s financial statements and ensure that all records and files are always ready for audit.
  • Ensure that all remittances to BIR, HDMF, SSS, Philhealth, other government agencies and monthly dues are prepared correctly and paid on time.
  • Ensure that all Permits and Licenses are up to date.
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Report significant issues that need to be addressed to the CFO.
  • Strict compliance to the Accounting policies and procedures.
  • Provides clerical and administrative support to management as requested.


  • Graduate of Accountancy.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Professional manner and a strong ethical code.
  • Exceptional time management, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to work efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain motivated and positive.
