PUP has once again ranked among the top universities in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings for Asia 2025.
PUP placed 7th among universities in the Philippines, 92nd in Southeast Asia, and within the 541st-560th range in all of Asia. This achievement highlights the university’s adherence to global standards in teaching, facilities, sustainability, research, and employability.
The university retained its three (3) QS Star Rating, with five (5) stars in Employability and Online Learning, four (4) stars in Teaching, Academic Development, and Inclusiveness, and 1 star in Global Engagement.
University President Dr. Manuel M. Muhi expressed gratitude to the QS organization and the PUP community, attributing this success to their collective efforts.
“For the second consecutive year, PUP is recognized among the top universities in Southeast Asia, thanks to the dedication of the entire PUP community,” he said.
Dr. Muhi added that PUP is committed to continually enhancing its educational quality.
“You can expect that we will continue to raise the bar, not only to meet international standards but also for the benefit of our ‘Iskolar ng Bayan.’ Our goal is to provide our students with the best possible education, empowering them to succeed both locally and globally,” he said.
This year’s QS World University Rankings evaluated 1,503 institutions across 104 countries based on metrics like academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty-student ratio, and international research network.
